NO! do not buy balloons from non-balloon stores they are cheap and old which means they will “pop”. I use Qualatex balloons which have a date code on the bag you should check. Don’t buy balloons (260’s) that are older then 18 months. The code is near the UPCode and it is 5 numbers. Example “00109″ the 001 is the day of the year and the 09 the year, so 00109 is new years day of 2009

A lot of people have a problem with making the petals. I even get pops when I’m making the flower or soon after. Try working with 160’s if your hands are small and your having a hard time. Doing the 6 petals with a 160 is much easer and its a good way to get the twist down before moving on to 260’s.Flower
